BIOS

CHRIS BERLETH

As Executive Director of Membership for The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce, Chris Berleth works to connect members, prospective members, corporate sponsors, and the community-at-large as they build meaningful connections in our area. Equally field-deployed and office-based, Chris serves as Executive Director of Leadership Susquehanna Valley (LSV), a critical partner and Chamber affiliate. In addition to his duties with LSV and Chamber membership, Chris serves as staff for the Chamber’s Agriculture, Ambassadors and Governmental Affairs Committees respectively. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Chris is a 2007 alumnus of Gettysburg College and a 2015 alumnus of Leadership Susquehanna Valley. He enjoys volunteering with his church, the American Red Cross, and the Boy Scouts of America, but spends most of his spare time with his lovely wife Kali wrangling their two beautiful, mischievous boys, Remington and Rutledge. ​

Our organization is challenging our youth to rise up and meet the needs of our ever-changing world. We want our students to experience personal prosperity and satisfaction as they craft innovative ideas that may change lives.

Our world is riddled with social, economic, and environmental issues. Society won't progress without new ideas and the entrepreneurs who pursue them. There's an old proverb that says: "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." Inspiring the next generation to "fish" is the first step to restoring The American Dream.​
